Mexican food | Brinson Ford Lincoln of Corsicana in Corsicana, TXYou can be sure that when you’re in Texas, you’ll find plenty of delicious choices to satisfy your craving for Mexican food – and Corsicana, TX is no exception! We’ve gathered together some great places to try out while you’re visiting our delightful town – the locals here are already well aware of them!

1. Cocina Las Tres Marias

Locals love this eatery, which boasts fresh ingredients to create the most authentic cuisine possible. They even make their tortillas from scratch! The service is exceptional, and the food is fairly priced as well. Try the barbacoa, lengua, and pozole verde. When you want to get your day started off right, join them for breakfast. We especially love the bacon and egg tacos. And the ranchero sauce is a must!

2. Fiesta Grill

Here at Fiesta Grill, you’ll find freshly made dishes, including homemade chips, salsa, rice, and beans. Try the sizzling fajitas or the chili rellenos. We appreciate the vibrant and colorful setting, which is a nice place to sit back with a frozen or on-the-rocks margarita—some of the best in town. They also have a full-service bar. Please remember to drink responsibly and in moderation. Do not drink and drive. Alcohol is for adults of legal drinking age only.

3. Old Mexican Inn Restaurant & Cantina

Another must-try is this family-owned establishment, which has been in business since 1941. The dining area is a great place to relax and enjoy traditional meals, such as beef fajitas, enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, and tamales. We recommend the chicken fajita nachos, the veggie fajitas, or the steak burrito. Be sure to try their housemade orange dip and pico de gallo salsa. You can even purchase jars of their dip and salsa to bring home!

4. Taqueria y Pupuseria Jehova es mi Pastor

For a quick bite when you’re on the go, stop by this low-key place – sometimes these hole-in-the-wall joints have some of the most impressive dishes! The lady cooks your food right in front of you. Try the quesadilla de fajita or the flautas de pollo. They don’t skimp on meat either. Check out their Thursday specials as well—3 pupusas for $5.

5. Taco Shop

This unassuming restaurant is another good place for a quick stop. Order at the counter and then relax in their bright dining room or take advantage of the drive-through window. The portions are very generous, and the prices are affordable. We suggest the bean and cheese tacos, the bean burrito with homemade taco sauce or sour cream, the enchilada combo, the burrito melt plate, or the tamales.

When you need to recharge your batteries, you’ll be pleased with the variety of restaurants our town has to offer! Make your way through our list to compare all of these delicious locals and who knows – you may even find a new favorite!
