Mita’s Coffee House and Fine Food
Nestled in the historic downtown of Corsicana, you’ll find this wonderful coffee house that offers carefully sourced, delicious coffee and a very relaxing atmosphere. Mita, the owner, has teamed up with top-notch coffee roasters Onyx Coffee Lab to provide a wide range of superb beverages. Some of her house specialties include the Carmilla, for a sweet mix of caramel and vanilla, and the Honeybee, made with locally sourced honey. The service is consistently fast and courteous, and they also have excellent food menus for breakfast, brunch, and lunch.
Timbers
This charming, quirky establishment offers a combination of a cozy coffee house, a rustic farmhouse bistro with homemade-style dishes, and a cute boutique store full of tasteful jewelry, handmade soaps, and women’s clothing of an adorable shabby-chic style. The coffee is terrific, always served up with a big smile by the friendly baristas.
One thing that draws the local regulars back time and time again is the food. When you visit, some of their most delicious dishes include the freshly baked and prepared jalapeno cheddar bagel, the turkey todd sandwich, and any of their soups. A couple of their yummy specialty coffees to try are the hot milky way coffee, and the rather unique cowboy coffee.
Lady Diana’s Zen Cafe
For the more health-conscious among you, be sure to visit this excellent, characterful gem of a local coffee house, which is owned and run by a mother-daughter team. Their emphasis in both the coffee and food they serve is on health and taste combined, with plenty of keto, gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options.
The food is all freshly made and absolutely scrumptious, and if you want pretty pictures of your food and drink for social media, you won’t be disappointed. Here, they really do understand that the first bite is with the eye. Best of all, the atmosphere in this welcoming cafe is upbeat and cheery, made so by the lovely decor and ever-friendly servers who are always ready to greet customers, have a chat, and recommend dishes and coffees for the day.
