When you want a burger, nothing else will do. If it’s been one of those days at work, hop in your Ford F-150 and let its power, take you to one of these places for the best burgers in Corsicana, TX.
Big Deal Burger
Everyone in town agrees; this place is a big deal. You will find them at 1509 W. 7th Ave. and they’re open every day from 11 AM until 9 PM. Everything here is deliciously fresh, there’s plenty of choices, and the staff are great people.
It’s really easy to get a great burger here, and we have to recommend the amazing Dad Bod, which is a double on a toasted brioche bun with smoked brisket, blue cheese, grilled onions, tomato, lettuce, and a blue cheese dressing. If you’d like things spicy, try the El Fuego, and you can also make your burger however you want. If you have people who don’t want to eat beef, they have some amazing “Not Burgers.”
Across the Street Diner
This popular local spot serves up a lot of amazing food, including some of the best burgers you’re going to find in our town. The diner is located at 125 North Beaton St. and is open from 7 AM till 4 PM every day but Sunday. This is delicious home-cooked, old-fashioned food at good prices, served up by people who love what they’re doing. They even have a soda fountain!
Their classic burger is made with a half pound of black Angus beef and comes with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion. You can add anything from avocados to bacon, sautéed onions to your choice of cheese, and a gluten-free bun is also available. They also have a fantastic patty melt, and the Hashop’s beef sandwich is also terrific.
Bottlecap Alley Icehouse Grill
This is a fun spot at 1208 W. 7th Ave. They are open from 11 AM until 10 PM Wednesday through Saturday and from 11 AM to 9 PM the rest of the week. Service here is quick, there are plenty of options, and the place is always clean and friendly.
We recommend you try it their barbecue bacon, burger, the mushroom Swiss, or the Tejano if you’re up for something spicy. That last will come with poblanos, pepperjack cheese, grilled jalapeños, and a spicy chipotle mayo, so be forewarned. Whatever you choose, you must get onion rings with it. Trust us.
