Trim Levels (Exterior)
The new Bronco is available in eight trim levels: the Base, the Big Bend, the Black Diamond, the Outer Banks, the Badlands, the Wildtrak, the Everglades, and the Raptor. All except the four-door-only Everglades can be either two-door or four-door. Various trim levels offer distinctive features like unique grilles, tinted windows, special color trims, and striking graphics. The Heritage and Heritage Limited Edition appearance packages add extra touches like special badging; trim-specific bumpers, fenders, and grilles; and other features that are designed to make the Bronco unique.
Engine (Power)
The 2023 Bronco is available in three different powertrains, some of which are tied to specific trim levels or option packages. The base engine is a turbocharged 2.3-liter inline four-cylinder that can generate 300 horsepower with 325 pound-feet of torque. Optionally, you can upgrade to a turbocharged 2.7-liter V-6 engine that makes 330 horsepower with 415 pound-feet of torque. Finally, the Raptor trim level is equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine that produces 418 horsepower and generates 440 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The Bronco's selectable terrain management drive modes are referred to as G.O.A.T. modes, which is short for Goes Over Any Type of Terrain. It offers superior performance whether you're on the highway, on the most rugged rocky terrain, or traversing a sand dune in the desert. When properly equipped with the 3.0-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine, the new Bronco is capable of towing 4,500 pounds. You can even get a front bumper winch to pull difficult objects and vehicles out of trouble.
Interior
For a vehicle designed for rugged off-road adventures, the Bronco does not eschew comfort and convenience. Thanks to plenty of grab handles, it's easy to get in and out, while the cabin is cavernous with tons of space for drivers and passengers. It also combines a snappy touchscreen interface with clear graphics and responsive sensitivity with physical dials and buttons making the system easy to use, even when you're wearing gloves. You also get seamless Android and Apple smartphone integration, satellite radio, and a Wi-Fi hotspot right out of the gate.
Safety Features
Ford understands how important it is to keep drivers safe. All Broncos come standard with Ford's safety suite, which includes hill start assist, automatic emergency braking and frontal crash warning, hill descent control, and features for trailering including sway damping and trail turn assist. Additional features are available with add-on packages. These include parking sensors in the front and rear, lane keeping, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic warnings, a 360-degree top-down camera system, and evasive steering assistance to help you avoid collisions.
